The Parrot Heads of Central Florida are extremely pleased to announce that $30,215 has been donated to the Arthritis Foundation on behalf of Kids with Arthritis as a result of the 4th Annual Fruitcakes in the Alley Bowling Tournament! This is the most ever raised and brings our 4-year total to more than $86,000!! It is a direct result of everyone’s contribution.

You could really feel the love in the bowling alley throughout the event. Over 200 big-hearted Parrot Heads and friends came together to make this world a much better place for kids who have arthritis and their families who love them so much and live through their struggles. So, thank you from us and from them!

Our event received some great recognition. Dr. John Klippel, the President and CEO of the national Arthritis Foundation (AF) recently included some web links in his Monday morning newsletter that goes out to all AF employees, nationwide. Below is an excerpt from his e-mail. There are some photos of our event in the YouTube video, and we are mentioned in the blog. This also gives you more information on our honoree, Parker Lentini. He’s a pretty cool kid.
